Record Breaking Year
District Residents,
It’s that time of year again! The 2024 Fund Drive is now in progress. Fairview Fire and Rescue is celebrating its 91st year of providing service to the Fairview community! While many changes have occurred over the years, what hasn’t changed is the fact that we are a volunteer company staffed by very dedicated individuals.
2023 was a record breaking year for our department. We answered 1,553 emergency calls. Fairview Fire & Rescue presently operates five emergency vehicles and maintains two fire stations. Our volunteers put in countless hours outside of their home and professional lives to maintain the highest quality of protection within the district as possible with limited funding.
Your generous contributions have made a significant impact in the past, allowing us to invest in critical equipment, training programs, and facility improvements. These investments directly contribute to our ability to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, keeping our community safe and secure. Since there currently is no fire tax added to your property taxes, we rely heavily on your donations, which are tax deductible because of our 501(c)(3) status.
Aside from monetary donations, we are still looking for men and women to fill the seats of the apparatus purchased with your contributions. If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, we welcome you to become a member. If you are interested in learning more about how to join the department, and would like to pick up an application, drill nights are Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. Even if you aren’t interested in fighting fire, there is a job for everyone!
