Join our Team to help the community

Volunteers are in great need. You can help your community in a variety of ways from assisting with administrative tasks, fund raining, station maintenance, and of course emergency response activities. Whatever your area of interest, we can use your assistance.

Fairview Fire & Rescue welcomes all members of the community with a heart to serve.  Your opportunity to help the community is not limited to direct involvement in firefighting, rescue, or EMS operations. Have a mind for business, we can use your assistance. We have several members whose sole desire is to assist the department without running calls providing a variety of administrative and other functions around the stations such as building maintenance and upkeep, records keeping, bookkeeping, providing food and comfort for our personnel when busy working at scenes of emergencies. There are many needed working behind the scenes to keep the organization working efficiently.

Stop by the station check us out and talk to some of our people. We have weekly training drills on Wednesday nights at 7 PM at our headquarters at 7190 West Ridge Rd, Fairview, except for the 2nd Wednesday of the month which is our monthly business meeting. We invite all interested in helping the community to come check us out.

For those interested in participating in the roles of emergency providers/first responders there are no specialized qualifications needed. If you do not have any prior experience we will train you! Fairview Fire & Rescue provides Fire, Rescue, and EMS services. We are always in need of those interested in becoming firefighters, rescue technicians Emergency Medical Technicians, and Emergency Medical Responders as well as needing people to operate the vehicles to and from or at the scenes of incidents. If someone is only interested in specific functions, we are happy to have you, you’re as important as those interested in doing it all.
